METU OPEN

In 2001, our journey has begun with a competition only 6 couples from ANKARA attended.

Every year we have made progress on our beloved competition brick by brick until it has transformed into an IDSF Open Tournament, in Adult Latin in 2009 and a year later Youth Latin has become a IDSF Open. By the confidence we have got from our all competitors, the first WDSF International Open Tournament of Türkiye have come to life in 2011. Finally, our journey has reached to World Open level and till 2018, it has been one of the most prestigious and high ranking competitions in the World.

Sadly by merging of the pandemic period our competition has come to a halt like all others in the World.

We have been so proud to Re-Introduce you to the METU OPEN WDSF Ranking Tournament. On 22-23 February 2025 We are looking forward to welcome you as our guests. Inside the METU Campus, with a spectacular audience an unforgettable experience waits for you.
